ok you guys out there stand up and count, my very good friend brad needs help to gain funding ideas for the charity gig so will everyone who can please help.

get everyone to do it for free. if they can't (e.g. need to get transport) then get them transport off of someone who will give it to them for free. if they still wont then u'll have to get funding before hand. e.g. go round college with a collectgion box and ask for donations etc. but this is for charity so ppl should do it for free! COME ON PPL!!!!

Organise a charity day thing with the student union would be an alright idea.

The only problem you have is fibbers charging you £700 (money grabbing twats, they will make a fortune on drinks) Have you thought of a different venue? Maybe you could do a sponsered walk or something which includes alot of you. To raise some money for the gig. Then the proceeds of the gig will obviously go to charity

Fibbers isnt the best venue in york anyway The Junction gets better turn outs...its more "down" with the kids, i have found.

if brad wants to raise £4000 noway is it gonna work with fibbers. it only holds 200 people and in 2 nights that will be £10 a person. That is not going to include all the other costs.
